Support grows for a tax on gas exports
Variously, the Grapevine has reported on the free-kick that gas mining receives in Australia - no royalties or taxes are paid. Now, new polling has revealed that there is support across party lines for a tax on gas exports, a policy proposed by the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
