MEMBER for Wyong David Harris MP said one of the grant beneficiary projects is the Ourimbah Creek Riparian Zone Rehabilitation in Palm Grove Ourimbah Creek Landcare, which will receive $100,000.00.

“This $100,000.00 grant from the Environmental Trust will support positive environmental outcomes in the Ourimbah Creek Riparian Zone Rehabilitation in Palm Grove Ourimbah Creek Landcare," Mr. Harris said.

“This funding is part of a package of more than $4.79 million approved for the 2021 round of the Environmental Trust’s Restoration and Rehabilitation grants.

“I am really pleased to be able to support this dedicated group of volunteers in their work to protect and rehabilitate this important ecosystem.

“The grants provide funding to community and government projects aiming to make longterm improvements to the environment right across NSW.”

This year’s grants were targeted at projects supporting the priorities of threatened species recovery and addressing climate change impacts on the natural environment.
