Saratoga resident, David Golding, and Dr Gordon Reid MP at The Central Coast Big Aussie BBQ.
20 November 2024
THE luncheon, organised by Dr Gordon Reid, is in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Novartis Pharmaceuticals.
Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid said, “It is vitally important that men over the age of 40 get a prostate check, these days it's as easy as a blood test.
“In Australia, 26,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year, making the disease our nation’s most diagnosed cancer.
“This free lunch and presentation are all about raising greater awareness of the disease and informing people that there are supports available, plus lots of useful information.
“I encourage men in our community to come along, share a meal, and learn more about how they can safeguard their health.”
The event will include a free lunch and presentations by representatives from the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australian and Dr Reid.
All men aged 40 and over are welcome.
Last year’s successful inaugural luncheon had close to 150 attendees and took place at the Davistown RSL.
The Second Central Coast Big Aussie Luncheon will take place at Gosford RSL on Monday December 2 from 1pm until 3pm.
Please be advised this event has limited capacity, register as soon as possible to secure your seat.
