CENTRAL Coast Council, with support from the NSW Government, is hosting a free family-friendly live site to coincide with the Grand Final on Saturday 25 May.

Council CEO David Farmer said a home grand final has the entire community buzzing with anticipation, and ready to rally behind their beloved team.

“We couldn't be prouder to stand in support of the Mariners, whose relentless determination and passion for the game continue to inspire us all. This is more than just a football match – it's a chance to be part of something special, a moment where unity and pride converge on the field.”

The free family-friendly live site event, complete with a giant screen streaming the match live, will commence at 4pm Saturday 25 May at Leagues Club Park, Gosford.

“Let's come together to show our unwavering support for the Mariners, united in our passion and enthusiasm,” Mr Farmer said.

Council Administrator Rik Hart said whether you're attending the game or just wanting to join in the celebrations, the live site offers an unforgettable experience.

“The event will be complete with live streaming of the game on the big screen, great food, entertainment, live music and activities for all ages.

“I really urge the community to be part of the excitement as we cheer on the mighty Central Coast Mariners,” Mr Hart said.

Mariners Interim CEO, Adam Thomson said they are thrilled to see the overwhelming support from the Central Coast community as we head into the Grand Final.

“The energy and enthusiasm of our fans are what drive us, and having a live site in Gosford means everyone can be part of this special occasion.

“We are grateful for the support of the Central Coast Council and the NSW Government for the opportunity to elevate the atmosphere around the stadium precinct. The live site event is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the occasion as one. Let’s turn Gosford into a sea of yellow and navy to show the rest of the country what the Central Coast spirit is all about."

Minister for the Central Coast, David Harris said it is great to see the Central Coast community once again get fully behind the Mariners on their march to premiership glory.

“This is a big event for the Central Coast, and we’re expecting thousands of fans to converge on the live site on Saturday to cheer on the team to victory.

“The live site is a great way for the community to come together, share in the great atmosphere and watch all the action on the big screen.”

The Minister for Tourism and Jobs, John Graham agreed that this Saturday marks a historic moment for the Central Coast Mariners as they host their first home Grand Final against Melbourne Victory.

“As local and interstate fans descend on the Central Coast the live site outside the stadium will guarantee that fans won’t miss out on the fun and energy of a great game.”
