All venues allow you to learn and experience real farm life - you can pick tulip’s and iris's, blueberries and oranges, as well as feeding farm animals. There is also kid's painting classes and classic farm games and activities at some locations.
Luna the Lamb showed Mr Harris around 'The Giving Farm' farm with loving farm owners Missy and Anthony sharing historical stories of the property.
Nearby it is worth stopping at 'Pick Your Own Oranges' in Dooralong, where you can meander among the 3,000 fruit trees while you pick your oranges.
Iris Lodge Alpacas in Jilliby offers a unique picnic experience with Alpacas and at Amazement Fun and Farm Park in Yarramalong you can explore the magical mazes and Australian wildlife.
"It is only a short road trip to the northern hinterlands to explore these hidden gems, they are certainly unique and worth the visit during the school holidays," David Harris Membersaid.
