RSL receives funding for restoration
Gosford RSL sub-Branch has received almost $10,000 for conservation work to the lower section of the Gosford Cenotaph. They are one of twenty-two recipients across the state to receive a share of over $125,000 in funding thanks to the NSW Government in Round 2 of the Community War Memorials Fund.

Destroying our world with plastic
We're surrounded by plastic. It’s in the single-use packaging we discard, the consumer goods that fill our stores, and in our clothing, which sheds microplastic fibres in the wash. Much of it ends up in landfills, where it may take up to 1,000 years to degrade, leaching potentially toxic substances into the soil and water.

Vandalism spree closes several public toilets
Several Central Coast Council community spaces and facilities have been the target of a senseless spree of vandalism over the weekend - forcing the closure of some public and disabled toilets during the peak school holiday period and requiring expensive clean up and repairs.
