THE Our Natural World Expo will showcase organisations that are dedicated to protecting wildlife and raising awareness through art.
The Exhibition will feature the cream of artists on the Central Coast and also some artists who have never exhibited previously and will launch on Friday 4 August at The Art House in Wyong at 6pm. Entry is free and The Art House will be serving a variety of finger food and there will be non-alcoholic punch (café and bar will also be open). Pu-Yu Wu, a Central Coast based flutist, will be playing a selection of contemporary flute music.
Our Natural World Expo will until run until the end of the month, which was born from a presentation at the Tuggerah Lakes Art Society about the battle to save Calga.
Tuggerah Lakes Art Society Present Rasheeda Flight said "It all began when Tassin Barnard, owner of Walkabout Park, was Guest Presenter at one of our Members’ Meetings where she told her story of their battle to save the Calga Valley.
"The Charmhaven Lions came on board and things snowballed from there and we’ve ended up with ‘Our Natural World ‘Expo."
