WE CARE CONNECT is a volunteer-powered local charity rehoming quality preloved children's essentials with families who need them most.
75% of requests for help have come from sole-parent families, of which 45% have experienced family violence, 53% have long-term illness or disability, and 15% are facing homelessness.
Thanks to We Care Connect, students will arrive at their new year at school with the back-to-school packs, which include a new backpack, lunchbox, drink bottle and school supplies.
David Harris Member for Wyong said, “It is important for students to have these supplies when attending throughout their school years and We Care Connect volunteers are doing a great job in supporting those families in need across the Central Coast”.
