FABULOUS Victorian chameleon Art Simone and Sydney’s glamour bug Etcetera Etcetera break the fourth wall and perform side-splitting numbers about their misadventures in drag and on screen as the hit national touring show, “As seen on TV – Rewind the Tapes” hits the Coasts Hub for contemporary Arts & Culture at the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus.
Art Simone, who has received global praise for her makeup designs for stage, screen and photographic works, is also the current reining “Queen of Australia” and "Drag Performer of the Year" (2 years running).
Art Simone said, “It’s always been a dream of mine to tour Australia - all the way from woop woop to the red centre - and share my love of drag.
"To be able to do this and also create safe and inclusive spaces for all, makes it a deadset bucket-list moment. I’m stoked!”
The show also features Etcetera Etcetera one of Australia’s most well-known and visually striking drag artists, who has a rich background in performance, makeup artistry, screen studies and fashion, appearing on stages from Australia to New York.
Etcetera Etcetera commented that Drag is for everyone!
"There’s nothing that excites me more than travelling around the country spreading the joy of self-expression.
"I’m so excited to tour with my sister Art Simone and give the Central Coast a real look inside our minds! Let’s hope they like what they find!”
